1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Juego Oveja Negra (Black Sheep Game). For any privacy question write to info@juegoovejanegra.com.
2. What data we process
- Account data: email address, username, display name and chosen avatar.
- Game data: games played, scores, progress, daily challenges, streaks, SheepCoins, friends and party games.
- Technical data: IP address, browser or device type and access time, to keep you signed in, prevent abuse and understand general usage.
- Notifications: if you turn them on, a notification identifier for your browser or app and your notification preferences.
We never ask for passwords: you sign in with a code we email to you.
3. Why we use it and on what basis
- Giving you access, saving your progress and showing you on leaderboards: performance of the service you ask for when creating the account.
- Sending you the sign-in code and, if you agree, game reminders: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings.
- Security, fraud prevention and aggregated usage statistics: legitimate interest in a game that works well and is fair.
4. What others can see
On leaderboards and in party games other players see your display name, avatar and scores. Your email is never shown.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. Only providers needed to run the service are involved: web and database hosting, email delivery and Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) for notifications. They comply with European data protection law.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. If you delete it, your data is erased; backups and technical logs are kept for up to 90 days.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, object to or restrict the use of your data and ask for portability by writing to info@juegoovejanegra.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority. To delete your account see how to delete your account.
8. Cookies and local storage
We only use our own cookies and browser storage, with no advertising:
- Necessary (always on): the session (
PHPSESSID), staying signed in (remember_token, 1 year), language (web_lang), your cookie choice (oveja_consentimiento, 1 year) and unfinished games saved in your browser. - Measurement (only if you accept): remembering the campaign you came from (
utm_*, 30 days) so we know which ads work.
You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookies" link in the footer or by clearing your browser cookies.
9. Children
The game is suitable for everyone. If you are under 14, you need your parents' or guardians' permission to create an account.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will let you know on the website. The date above shows the latest version.
